Content mining

Definition: Content mining refers to a wide range of computerised searching, analysis and integration techniques applied to digital content, such as databases, audio-visual material, and texts, including corresponding metadata. Text and data mining (TDM) is used synonymously.
Explanation: content mining is often used in the context of the extraction and integration of useful data, information and knowledge from Web page content.
