Result data

From Science Europe Data Glossary

Definition: result data is data generated through research.
Explanation: this may be data generated by combining or analysing existing source data, but it may also be completely new data generated through data collection. Typical examples are data from experiments, simulations, field work or interviews.
Result data are the direct result of the research carried out, regardless of whether they are based on source data or have been recently collected. Result data will be the object of the Research Council’s policy work in the area.
